A New Scarlet Witch Comic Series Will Unlock The Full Power Of Wanda Maximoff

The Scarlet Witch is back in an all-new solo comic series written by Steve Orlando and drawn by Sara Pichelli. The new series will follow Wanda Maximoff after her redemption arc in X-Men: Trial of Magneto.
Wanting a fresh start, Wanda opens a magic shop at the other end of a door “that appears only to those who need it most”, according to Marvel. Those who have lost all hope and who are in great need of help will be transported through the portal to meet the Scarlet Witch.

The story begins with the case of a woman who seeks Wanda’s help in saving her town from a mysterious threat. Wanda will have to utilize her powers and wit to solve the case and rescue this town gone mad.
Writer Steven Orlando said of the comic, “Since I first stepped into the House of Ideas, the Scarlet Witch has been with me…Wanda Maximoff has finally broken free of the shadows she's wrestled with for years.”
Marvel has released the cover for the first issue of SCARLET WITCH, featuring a new costume design for Wanda. Fans of this beloved character can expect an exciting new adventure, and more than a little chaos, from this highly anticipated series.
