Amazon Releases Another 'The Rings Of Power' Trailer Ahead Of Its Premiere

Amazon released the full trailer of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, revealing how Galadriel and others will step up to defeat evil forces wanting to take control of Middle-earth. This final trailer solidifies Galadriel as the primary character throughout the show.
The action-filled video opens with Galadriel continuing the fight started by her brother Finrod after his death. Throughout the trailer, Galadriel gathers together warriors for the upcoming battle. When asked to “put down her sword,” Galadriel replies, “Without it, what am I to be?”

Fans of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit novels and films can expect to see more of Tolkien’s Second Age of Middle-earth, which takes place thousands of years before the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings films. The series will cover essential story points from Tolkien’s timeline, such as the rise of Sauron and the creation of the Rings of Power. The Last Alliance of Elves and Men, first portrayed in Peter Jackson’s Fellowship in the Ring, will also be explored in the series. Fans can expect to see more Middle-earth landscapes, such as the Elven capital of Lindon, the island kingdom of Númenor, and the Misty Mountains.
The series premieres on September 2nd with its first two episodes on Amazon Prime Video. The season finale will release on October 14th.
