'I Am Groot,' A New Series From Marvel Will Premiere Next Month On Disney+
I Am Groot is a series of ten shorts created by Ryan Little and directed by award-winning animation director Kirsten Lepore and is set to premiere on Disney+ on August 10th. Initially, only five of the shorts will be available with the final five set to premiere at a later date.
The animation style for the series is photorealistic with the story revolving around Groot and his home planet Planet X. Vin Diesel will reprise his voice role as the titular character Groot with Bradley Cooper reportedly returning to voice Rocket Raccoon.

Executive Producer James Gunn has mentioned that I Am Groot takes place outside of the main Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline and tweeted recently that it takes place in Universe Pi, which some have designated as Earth-314.
The first five shorts are titled “Groot Takes a Bath,” “The Little Guy,” “Groot's First Steps, Groot's Pursuit,” and “Magnum Opus.” A trailer of the first five shorts was released during the Marvel Animation Panel at San Diego Comic-Con, which featured Baby Groot battling an even smaller species of aliens, that he ultimately wins over when he accidentally feeds their entire species with a leaf that fell off his body.

I Am Groot looks to be a ton of fun for all ages and absolutely delightful.
