Kelsey Grammer Cried Reading Script of ‘Frasier’ Revival Expected To Film This Fall

On a recent episode of The Talk which aired July 4th, Frasier star Kelsey Grammer revealed key new details about the series’ long anticipated revival. This comes 18 years after Grammer's famed radio psychiatrist character Dr. Frasier Crane signed off the air for the last time. Many co-stars including fellow thespian David Hyde Pierce are expected to reprise their roles, however, sadly the show will not include the late John Mahoney, who passed away in 2018.

In the interview, Grammer stated, "We're in the final stages of the final script for the first episode of Frasier, and it looks pretty good… I've had a couple of runs through it, and I cried. So, you know, I'm happy.” He went on to add that he expected the show to begin filming around “October” after finishing a few other projects.
