Markiplier Talks 'Five Nights At Freddie's' Rumors
As the self-proclaimed King of Five Nights at Freddy's, it was only natural that people expected mega YouTuber Markiplier to have some role in the film adaptation. MatPat, who has dozens of theory videos about the series, made a cameo, so Mark was certain to fit in there, and he was supposed to. He had been tabbed to be the security guard who was killed in the beginning, but scheduling conflicts with his film, an adaptation of the video game Iron Lung, shut that down. Now that we’re getting a second film, people were hoping that the king would finally make his appearance in the series, which caused him to take off and vice versa.
However, it doesn’t look good.
In a video with Dawko, Markiplier stated that nobody has reached out to him to be a part of the sequel. That doesn’t completely slam the door on him appearing in the film; the fact that it’s coming out next year means that time is running out for him to be a part of it. However, there is fan speculation that he is lying, as MatPat also denied that he would make a cameo in the film. Whatever the case may be, there is no solid evidence that Mark will have a role in the film.
Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is scheduled for release sometime in 2025.
