Marvel just unveiled a new comic issue, Avengers: Everyday Heroes, where a family is in a local clinic waiting to receive their COVID-19 vaccination. While the family is in the waiting room, listening to the news about the story’s villain, Ultron, it is revealed that the Avengers have dealt with Ultron before and are being forced to do so once again. The narrator reveals that Ultron once took control of the moon of Titan, Thanos’ homeworld. Do the repeated failed attempts to permanently take out Ultron say something about the teamwork of the Avengers?

The Avengers beat every Ultron bot to oblivion, strap Ultron to an rocket, and launch the metal menace into deep space. Ant-Man and Ms. Marvel also make an appearance, joining the Avengers to fight off Ultron and his nefarious forces. Iron Man shows up with a newly crafted ion energy cannon that obliterates the enemy. Stark then appears to speak with the old man and his family, revealing his relationship with the former Damage Control veteran. The narrative is that not all superheroes are fighters, and that not all supervillains use violence. COVID-19 is dangerous, and precautions should be taken to keep everyone safe.
