The 2024 Olympic Games just wrapped up in Paris, France, and they were a wild ride. The United States came in first place, with an impressive total of 126 medals, with 40 of them gold. One of the best moments from the Olympics however was the addition of Snoop Dogg. He was the unofficial US Mascot, and he was everywhere in the Olympic games, always cheering on Team USA. He also got to carry the Olympic torch at one point, which was a huge honor. Snoop also had some iconic outfits throughout the games. He was a wonderful addition to the games, so let's take a look at some of his best moments.
5. Swimming With Michael Phelps

Everyone can agree that Michael Phelps is easily the best swimmer of all time. He has an impressive 28 medals from his Olympic career. Snoop took a visit to learn some swimming from the decorated Olympian, and it did not go as planned. While they both swam, Phelps reduced his pace to keep up with Snoop. Snoop needed some oxygen after the swim.

4. Hanging With The US Men’s Basketball Team

The US Men’s basketball team has been an unstoppable force for the past few Olympics, and these games were no different. The team had many big names playing for it such as LeBron James, Steph Curry, and Anthony Davis. During one of Snoop’s many excursions, he joined the team on their way to a practice. He had them each sign his basketball, which he said he was going to sell, and joked that they just made him a million dollars. He was living his best life on that bus, and the team seemed to be enjoying it.
3. Fine Dining With Martha Stewart

One of the best celebrity friendships is between Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg. Of course, the two of them would be in Paris together, enjoying the games. One of the things they did together was fine dining at a local French restaurant. Martha was in her element, and let’s just say the Snoop was not. He was willing to try the food but was not a fan of some of it, especially the steak tartare.
2. Dressage With Martha

Snoop and Martha had to keep their classy events going, and they did this by attending some equestrian events together. Before the events, however, they got to see some horses, and even feed them. Snoop is scared of horses, and isn’t a huge fan of feeding them, and convinced Martha to feed the rest of his carrots to the horse. During the events, Snoop made some of the best comments, and the video is definitely worth a watch. Of course, they dressed for the part in full riding gear, and both of them looked great.
1. Closing Ceremony Performance

Nothing was more fitting for Snoop Dogg than getting to perform in the closing ceremony of these Olympics. The next summer Olympics will be in LA, where Snoop is from, so it only makes sense. He performed ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ and then joined Dr. Dre on stage to perform a clean version of ‘The Next Episode’. It was a great way to show the world what they can expect from the LA Olympics in 2028.
Snoop Dogg was a very welcome addition to this year’s Olympic games. When he wasn’t out on various excursions, we could always rely on him to be cheering on Team USA. All of these are available to see online, and I highly recommend checking them out. They are hilarious and are sure to brighten your day. I would also watch a show about Snoop doing various side quests because he is very entertaining. He made the Olympics more fun and memorable, and hopefully, we will see him back in 2028, cheering on Team USA in his hometown of Los Angeles.
