Knock Knock! We’ve got Knuckles show news! Kid Cudi just revealed some interesting information regarding the upcoming Paramount+ show. It seems the title is aiming for a Fall 2023 release date.

Production has recently wrapped up on the show featuring the tougher-than-leather echidna Knuckles. The premise is said to have the warrior, voiced by Idris Elba, train deputy Wade Whipple, played by Adam Pally, in “the ways the echidna warrior.” The show also features Edi Patterson (known for The Righteous Gemstones), Julian Barratt (Mindhorn), Scott Mescudi (Don’t Look Up), and Ellie Taylor of Ted Lasso fame as recurring characters, while Game of Thrones star Roy McCann is set to guest star along with Tika Sumpter, who will be reprising her role as Maddie Wachowski.

Jeff Fowler, the director of the films, directed the pilot, and the show is produced by both Paramount and SEGA of America. The show has been highly anticipated by Sonic fans and is a further expansion of the blue blur’s cinematic universe.

The next film in the franchise, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, is set to premiere in December of 2024, so hopefully this will hold eager fans of the films until that time, particularly those waiting to see Shadow the Hedgehog on the big screen.
