Alan Cumming Talks 'Avengers: Doomsday' And Advancements In Movie Makeup For His Return As Nightcrawler

Like it or not, Avengers: Doomsday is coming to theatres eventually, and among the cast includes Alan Cumming. Ignoring the film’s divisive status, Cumming seemed excited, as seen during a recent interview with Today With Jenna and Friends. He stated, “Isn’t it nuts? I’m excited and amazed. It’s been 23 years since I was a superhero.” He’s also done some makeup tests, telling the interviewer, “What’s great about it was that before it was about four and a half hours to apply it, but now it’s only 90 minutes. Before, all of the tattoos were done by hand(...) Now, they just stick onto my face. It’s a game changer.”

Alan Cumming will be returning to the role of Nightcrawler for Avengers: Doomsday. The 60-year-old Scottish actor will have to get his German accent back, let’s hope it’s still good after all those years.
