Believe It Or Not, There's Yet Another 'Winnie The Pooh' Horror Movie Coming

I mean, beyond the fact that Blood and Honey 3 has already been announced.

Horror goes through trends, and we’re currently living in an age with a rather unexpected one: public domain childhood icons being turned into slasher killers. Most famously we have the residents of the Hundred Acre Wood going on rampages, but we’re also going to see Steamboat Willie, Peter Pan, Bambi, and Pinocchio to name just a few. The original Blood and Honey movie, which just featured Pooh and Piglet, has already been viewed as one of the worst films ever made, scoring five Razzie wins including Worst Picture.

However, this time Piglet is getting his own movie. The fittingly named Piglet will blend elements of classic slashers such as Friday the 13th and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and is even compared to Motel Hell. Just like the slashers of old, it will feature a group of young teens in the woods who get picked off one by one by the killer. There are even theories that Piglet isn’t a pig, but a person wearing a pig mask. If the latter is the case, then that makes it seem suspiciously like the film is only called Piglet to ride off of the coattails of the Twisted Childhood Universe. But, I mean, so are things like the Steamboat Willie slasher. Like I said before: twisting childhood characters is a trend.

So far the film has no release date.
