Galadriel Is Ready To Do Battle In 'The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power' Season Two

Empire Magazine has a Rings of Power focus for its August issue, looking deeper into the second season with several exclusives. Morfydd Clark, who portrays Galadriel, talks about the battle-ready Elf after the first season's events.
“She really messed up so badly,” Clark said. “There’s a desperation to redeem herself, and through redeeming herself protect Middle-earth, which is in more danger than it ever has been. Now she’s seen the whites of the eyes of the person who’s bringing it all down, she’s all revved up.”

The one who brings danger to Middle-earth is Halbrand, who over season one gained the trust of Galadriel until his true self was forcefully revealed. That being Sauron, the creator of the Rings of Power. Along with her resolve to bring Sauron down, Galadriel holds one of those rings. “Even Sauron doesn’t know exactly what they’ll do,” Clark said. “But it’s an extra-weird connection between Galadriel and the baddest man in Middle-earth.”
The Rings of Power will start its second season on August 29 on Amazon Prime Video. This second season continues its exploration of the Second Age of the Lord of the Rings timeline, featuring grander battles across Middle-earth and beyond.
