Even though she is credited as a writer for these shows, 2023 will bring a new chapter to her career. As The Hollywood Reporter confirmed, she will be a co-executive producer for Acolyte, but IMDB also puts her in the same position for Daisy Jones & The Six, a TV mini-series that will follow the ascension of the band of the same name.
The Acolyte will feature a part of Star Wars that has not been explored in TV or Cinema until this point. Set in the final period of the High Republic, the show will be, according to CBR, a “mystery thriller in which a Jedi Knight and her former master embark on an investigation that unearths a threat to the galaxy itself”. Some names already confirmed for the show are Dafne Keen (Logan), Carrie-Anne Moss (Matrix saga), Jodie Turner-Smith (The Last Ship), Amandla Stenberg (The Hunger Games), and several others.
The series is set to premiere on August 11, 2023, and will have 8 episodes in its first season.
