Kathryn Hahn Discusses Three Marvel Sorcerers She Would Love For Agatha To Face

A recent guest on Mythical Kitchen’s Last Meal discussed other Marvel characters she would like her character to face off against in her series, Agatha All Along. Kathryn Hahn, who portrays the titular Agatha, mentioned her desire to have Agatha face other adversaries. According to comicbook.com, Hahn “wants to keep Agatha's foes in the realm of mysticism and magic.” Rather than face another character exuding brute strength, such as Hulk, Hahn stated she would have more fun with Doctor Strange, Loki, or Scarlet Witch. While Agatha All Along has not been greenlit for a second season, Agatha going against characters practicing magic would create an interesting challenge.
While the final events of Agatha All Along show evidence that Agatha and Wiccan, portrayed by Joe Locke, will return at some point, it's the "when" and "where" that “remain a mystery”. However, given that WandaVision was not given a second season by the showrunner Jac Schaeffer, Agatha facing off against Loki, Doctor Strange, or Scarlet Witch would be the result of a new creative director. Whether there will be a new creative team or not, reports stated that Agatha All Along will not receive a second season while others state there is a possibility of another season. Despite this, Schaeffer holds a deep love and respect for Marvel’s characters, storylines, and those who portray those characters.

Though Schaeffer “can’t speak to anything specific”, but states how vital Wiccan’s character is and how Joe Locke portrayed him with such importance that it wouldn’t be surprising if he were to make another appearance. This statement could be Hahn’s opportunity to have a showdown with her magic characters for viewers and herself alike.
