It’s been a little while since we’ve heard from Doctor Strange, since he’s been gone from theaters and absent in recent MCU series. However, it appears he will make his return to the pages of Marvel Comics in a brand-new series set to debut this upcoming March.

The new series, written by Jed McKay and illustrated by renowned artist Pasqual Ferry, will resume Strange's journey as the Sorcerer Supreme. It centers around a mystery that will challenge the very legacy of Stephen Strange. Readers of the series will doubtlessly notice the homage to the vintage Doctor Strange stories, as the character will be wearing a new costume designed by the great Alex Ross.

RELATED:

The origin of Stephen Strange is well-known; he is a doctor that turned to the mystic arts after a life-changing accident. Strange then assumes the mantle of the Sorcerer Supreme and fights evil mystic forces that the ordinary hero would be unable to defeat. He will continue fighting evil in the supernatural and interdimensional; however, in this comic run, he will confront another would-be hero that fights evil. This new fighter, however, has a different methodology than Strange.

Who is this new entity? The answer will be revealed on March 22 when the new issue arrives on stands and in shops everywhere.
