Nicolas Cage To Join 'Dead By Daylight' Lineup In July

Oscar-winner and over forty-year acting veteran Nicolas Cage, star of such diverse films as The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, Pig, Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse, Ghost Rider, Lord of War, Con Air, and The Rock, is lending his talents to the popular Dead by Daylight video game, as announced on the game’s Twitter account on May 17. The multiplayer game by Behaviour Interactive features different realms with a group of players as survivors playing against a single killer who tries to catch each survivor to sacrifice them to the Entity. Players can choose from a cast of characters that were created especially for the game, or pick from characters that are from different horror franchises.
The game’s website states that it’s “The only game where horror’s greatest franchises collide”, as it features characters and settings from Resident Evil, Saw, Scream, and Silent Hill franchises, among others. Nicolas Cage is listed as a survivor character, and there is talk that he may be part of Dead by Daylight’s May 23 anniversary stream. In the trailer for his upcoming role, Cage says, "There is nothing more powerful than imagination. It can shape the fabric of reality... transforming everything you think you may know." Fans of Dead by Daylight and Nic Cage can see his debut on July 5.
