'Sonic X Shadow Generations' Receives Announcement Trailer

Sonic fans rejoice! The highly celebrated Sonic Generations is getting a remaster…with a twist! Instead of simply re-releasing the game with some extra content, the title is getting a whole new campaign featuring everyone’s favorite “edgy hedgy,” Shadow the Hedgehog! Titled Sonic X Shadow Generations, the campaign appears to feature levels from Shadow’s past appearances, including Sonic Adventure 2 and Shadow the Hedgehog. A trailer was released yesterday as part of Sony’s State of Play Event, and that same day, the website and its listing on Steam and other digital storefronts became live. This also reveals the plot synopsis, which reads:
"When Shadow’s old nemesis, Black Doom, reemerges and threatens to take over the world, Shadow must journey into his own past, confront painful memories, face familiar foes, and unlock new powers to save the world and prove why he’s known as the Ultimate Life Form!”
The game will also feature the original levels with updated visuals and bonus content, so there is a lot to be excited about in this new release! This title has been a favorite among Sonic fans, so it is certainly a pleasure to see it getting the remaster treatment and then some. Sonic X Shadow Generations speeds onto all major platforms in the Fall of this year.
