‘Teen Titans’ And ‘Justice League Action’ Are Now Streaming On Prime Video

Warner Bros. Discovery’s licensing of its DC Comics-based animated series to Prime Video has already begun. The first two to make their way? Teen Titans and Justice League Action.

Yup, all five seasons of the beloved 2003-2006 series are now there. As of writing, “Apprentice Part 1” is the only episode not activated for instant streaming, and thus still has its rent or purchase price tag. All of Teen Titans is still on HBO Max, as are its two movies, Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo which was made for television, and the direct-to-video Teen Titans Go! vs Teen Titans.

Joining it is Justice League Action, the Justice League cartoon that premiered in December 2016 on Cartoon Network. Batman is voiced by the late Kevin Conroy, in what would end up being his final animated series in the role. Rachel Kimsey voices Wonder Woman, and she even reprises the role in an episode of Scooby-Doo and Guess Who, while Sean Astin is Shazam. The way that most probably heard of the series was one of the show’s 22 shorts, titled "Missing the Mark", where Mark Hamill voices every character: Himself and his three DC characters: The Joker, the Trickster, and Swamp Thing, which he does for the series proper as well. This show is so underrated that it never actually made it to HBO Max but it is still on Cartoon Network’s app.

While Teen Titans remains on HBO Max, there are some signs of shedding: Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and the 1967 Aquaman series are leaving HBO Max at the end of January. It should be noted that the former three originally arrived on February 1, 2021, and therefore might very well be the expiration of a 2-year deal and not something more sinister. Whether these titles are going to be the first to fully migrate is unconfirmed. We’ll have to see what comes of it to get a better idea of the situation.
