The Marvel Cinematic Universe's Blade movie starring Mahersala Ali has been delayed yet again. It was scheduled to be released in cinemas on November 7, 2025. However, filming has yet to start for the project, Although Blade was first announced in 2019, the 2020 pandemic and the Hollywood strikes of 2023 led to natural delays. Marvel did not give a reason for this newest delay but Kevin Feige assured, “We are committed to the movie and we're so committed to it that we're not going to make it until it's right. [It] has been frustrating for us and for some fans that it's taken a while but we have a writer working on it now."

The film Predator: Badlands will take the November 7 release spot. Marvel announced three new release dates for superhero films but didn’t specify what these films will be. The release dates are February 18, 2028, May 5, 2028, and November 10, 2028. Since Blade fits the street-level hero type, Marvel may want to finish the multiverse saga before introducing the vampire hunter. That saga is set to conclude with the upcoming Avengers films Doomsday and Secret Wars, releasing on May 1, 2026, and May 7, 2027.
