Where To Buy The New Trading Card Game 'Disney Lorcana'

There’s a new trading card game (TCG) on the block! The latest one of this type to hit the market is Disney Lorcana. The game brings Disney’s favorite characters to the card universe, working similarly to others like Magic: The Gathering and Pokemón. While these two have been around for some time already, Disney Lorcana tries to expand on the popularity of Disney’s different intellectual properties (like their recent animated movies for example) by entering a new market.

According to Polygon, the card game was launched with a good amount of content already. It began with “The First Chapter” a 204-card initial release package that includes booster packs. Players can choose from one of three 60-card decks, that revolve around two different colors by deck. In addition to the initial 60 cards, the person gets one booster pack and eleven damage counters. The overall price of each of these decks is US$ 16,99. Although they were quickly sold out, they are available at Amazon, Miniature Market, and Disney’s online shop, Shop Disney.

But like all card-based games, the public can buy separate decks and booster packs separately. While prices vary a lot, there are several options out there. Players can either buy these packs individually (US$ 5,99) or as a set that features a display box (US$ 143,99). There is a gift set too, but that one is not as cheap or expensive. It is listed as costing US$ 29,99. It does not stop there. Disney also created several other accessories like art pieces (a set that includes lots of boosters and damage counters, all for US$ 59,99), gaming mats (US$ 20), deck boxes (US$ 6), some nicely decorated card sleeves (US$ 10) and portfolios (US$ 20) for them as well.

It is worth noticing that most links where cards are - in theory - available to buy have already sold out. It is possible to find some decks and booster packs on Amazon and Miniature Market, but the demand for this TCG has been really big since its launch a few months ago.
