Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the highly anticipated sequel to the 2019 game, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The sequel will pick up five years after the events of the first game. It will follow Cal Kestis and his crew, trying their best to evade the growing Empire and stay one step ahead of them. While the game was originally supposed to come out in March, it has now been delayed until the end of April. However, as we get closer to the release date, more information about the game is being released, including one of the bosses Cal with have to go up against in the game, which could possibly be one of the franchise’s most difficult.

Fans of the first game aren’t ones to shy away from a challenge, as the first game had Cal going up against some tough foes; however, the Gen’dai boss Cal will have to face seems to be much tougher than anything Cal has faced before.

RELATED:

Long-time Star Wars fans may be familiar with this alien race, as they first appeared in the 2003 2D Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated show. The species only appeared a handful of times, but this will be the first official appearance in Star Wars canon. Each Gen’dai is comprised of hundreds of tentacles, wrapping around each other to form a humanoid-like appearance. These tentacles regrow at an extremely fast rate; fans saw Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi go up against one in the animated show, and he had a tough time fighting it.

If the Legends appearance is anything to go by, then Cal is going to have a tough time with this boss. The Gen’dai boss could be not only one of the toughest fights in the entire game, but also one of the toughest fights within the franchise itself. Cal will need to utilize all of his newfound Jedi powers to truly defeat this enemy, and even then, it might take a few tries.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor releases on April 28th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
