8 Easter Eggs From 'Star Wars: Andor' Episode 7 You May Have Missed

Star Wars: Andor has brilliantly depicted the birth of the Rebel Alliance thus far. While the show mainly features the journey of Cassian Andor and Mon Mothma during the dark age of the Empire along with the harsh realities of the era, it still manages to bring in Easter eggs, references, and double meanings. Here are a few that are scattered throughout the seventh episode of Star Wars: Andor.
8. Luthen’s Emporium Of Artifacts

This episode returns to Luthen’s emporium of artifacts as the show revisits the mysterious character and his role in the revolution. The items harbored in his emporium make the mystery even more compelling. Once again, viewers will have a chance to spot a Kel Dor mask, a Twi’lek Kalikori, a Jedi Temple Guard’s mask, a Gungan personal energy shield, and what appears to be Starkiller’s Sith stalker armor.

7. The Milk Is Always Blue

Syril’s mother pours him some blue milk at the beginning of the episode. Blue milk, which is officially known as Bantha milk, is normally seen on Outer Rim worlds like Tatooine and Lothal. Luke Skywalker, and Ezra Bridger, respectively, are seen drinking the beverage in A New Hope and Rebels. It makes another appearance in Cid’s parlor on Ord Mantell in The Bad Batch.
6. Admiral Yularen

In this episode, Admiral Wullf Yularen is seen giving the Imperial Security Bureau direct access to military and naval resources after the attack on Aldhani. In the same meeting, Admiral Yularen also announces P.O.R.D. or Public Order Resentencing Directive, which mirrors the USA Patriot Act.
Admiral Yularen is a veteran of the Clone Wars who served alongside Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, and Captain Rex. Wullf Yularen also appears in Rebels to investigate the Phoenix Squad.
5. The Brave Little Mouse Droid That Could

Syril finally hits rock bottom of the Imperial hierarchy from brave police work to dodging impatient Imperial mouse droids. His overbearing mother calls in a favor from the mysterious “Uncle Harlow,” who sets up an interview for him at the Bureau of Standards. As the interviewer looks into Syril’s records, Syril beautifully dodges the tiny mouse droid. This is the first time a character moves aside for the tiny droid. This is in contrast to the mouse droid who fled in fear in A New Hope when Chewbacca growled at him.
4. Post-Republic Clone Troopers

Flashbacks are all too familiar in Star Wars, and Andor is no exception. Episode 7 takes look back at Clem’s execution in the past when citizens of Ferrix were hurling rocks at the Phase III clone troopers. Other than the old veteran seen in Obi-Wan Kenobi, this is the only instance where live-action clone troopers are seen post-Republic.
3. Ord Mantell Links

At ISB, Supervisor Lonni Jung spoke with Major Partagaz about Ord Mantell. Han Solo mentioned an encounter with a bounty hunter on the planet in The Empire Strikes Back. As mentioned earlier, Ord Mantell is the home of Cid’s bar, where Clone Force 99 finds employment after the Clone Wars in The Bad Batch. The headquarters of the infamous Black Sun crime syndicate is also located here.
2. Shoretrooper And KX-Series Security Droid

Cassian encounters the Empire once again when a shoretrooper stops Cassian for suspicious activity. The shoretrooper assumes that our hero is a Rebel and calls over a KX security droid to “hang on” to Cassian. The KX security droid appears to be the same model as K2-SO, Cassian Andor’s companion from Rogue One.

At the end of the episode, Cassian, under the guise of Keef Girgo, is charged with civil disruption, anti-Imperial speech, fleeing the scene of anti-Imperial activity, and attempting damage to Imperial property. However, before Cassian is called to the podium, another citizen is charged with walking their massiff unleashed.
A massif is a doglike creature that accompanies the Tusken Raiders on Tatooine. It has appeared in The Clone Wars, Rebels, The Mandalorian, and The Book of Boba Fett.
