A New Teaser For 'The Last Of Us' Season 2 Has Been Released

As movies and TV based on video games become more and more popular, one of the more well-received shows based on a game is going to continue. The Last Of Us show, based on the game by the same name, has been renewed for a second season, which has been announced to have an April 2025 release date and will be available exclusively on HBO Max, similar to the first season. The trailer for the season can be seen below.
The trailer heavily features the character of Abby, who was also in the games, leading to speculation as to what the character’s role in the movie is going to be, especially since fans have noted that the trailer hints at changes that diverge from the game in major ways.
As for returning characters, Pedro Pascal will return as the main protagonist Joel, while Bella Ramsey will return as Ellie. The two characters, despite their vast differences and slow start, had gotten much closer by the end of the first season and had developed a symbiotic relationship. However, much distrust was placed between them at the end of the season. The second season is expected to start where the first ended.
