Things have been quiet on the Sonic Rumble front. Though initially set for a late 2024 release, that time came and went with no news of its release. However, we finally have some news regarding the global release of the upcoming mobile title, and it’s coming up soon. A new trailer was released for the game that not only features Mike Pollock as Dr. Eggman, perhaps alluding to voice acting being in the game, but it also revealed the game’s global release, that being May 8th of this year. It also features some new looks at the gameplay, which looks a bit more refined and snappy than it did in the beta.

Sonic Rumble is currently available to pre-register on Steam, Google Play Games, the Play Store, and the App Store. The game has a preregistration campaign that unlocks rewards upon each registration milestone. It just reached over 900,000 registrations, and as part of the campaign, players will now get a Garnet Knuckles skin upon launch. Previous rewards include 5,000 rings, a happy Chao sticker, and a Crystal Chao buddy. Future rewards include a Movie Sonic skin, so it will be interesting to see how many registrations Sonic Rumble will get!
