Daisy Ridley's 'Star Wars' Movie Signs On Writer George Nolfi

We return to the Galaxy Far, Far Away, as new news has reached us. Writer George Nolfi, best known for his work on The Bourne Ultimatum and Ocean’s 12, has been selected to write Daisy Ridley's Star Wars movie, New Jedi Order. The project, despite high faith, has been shifting through writers for a while, hopefully, Nolfi will be the final one. In addition, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, known for directing documentaries, will be directing the New Jedi Order as her first narrative feature. The film takes place 15 years after the sequel trilogy, as Daisy Ridley’s Rey trains the new generation of Jedi.

The Star Wars series has had its ups and downs; we won’t be naming names, but readers can probably guess what we’re talking about. Daisy Ridley’s upcoming film has this hurdle to overcome, but that’s not the end all, be all for the project. Will New Jedi Order become one of the best films in the series? Is it doomed to become a massive disappointment among fans, much like certain other projects? It is far too soon to say with certainty any definitive answer, but speculation will abound until the film gets a trailer. Until then, we shall return to the Unknown Regions of the internet.
