David Krumholtz And Emily Beecham Join The Cast Of 'Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow'
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is adding two new cast members to their roster, which includes House of the Dragon’s Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El (Supergirl). Alcock is expected to appear in her role as Supergirl for the first time in the upcoming Superman.
Supergirl’s parents will be played by David Krumholtz of Numb3rs and Oppenheimer fame and Emily Beecham from Into the Badlands and Daphne. Jason Momoa, Eve Ridley, and Matthias Schoenaerts are also cast for the 2026 superhero film already, but much of the movie’s development secrets remain under wraps. Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is a direct adaptation of the 2022 comic book of the same name, penned by Tom King and illustrated by Bilquis Evely. Momoa is playing Lobo, Ridley is cast as Ruthye Mary Knoll, and Schoenaerts plays the villain Krem of the Yellow Hills.

Craig Gillespie (I, Tonya, and Cruella) is directing Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow with Ana Nogueira writing, known for her acting in The Vampire Diaries and Hightown. Nogueira is also slated to write for another upcoming DC movie showcasing the Teen Titans.
Filming began earlier this month in Leavesden, United Kingdom. Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow from James Gunn and Peter Safran’s DC Studios is slated to premiere in theaters on June 26, 2026, just about 4 years after its initial comic publication.
