Details And Cover Released For Marvel's 'Star Wars: Inquisitors' Stories

Written by Rodney Barnes and illustrated by Ramon Rosanas, a new comic mini-series is coming that is set within the Star Wars universe focusing on the Inquisitors. Aptly named Inquisitors, this mini-series sees the Empire’s Jedi hunters on a mission to track down an Order 66 survivor. A survivor who has attracted the attention of Darth Vader.
Barnes reveals his excitement to StarWars.com to be working in this era of the galaxy as part of this announcement. “It’s such an honor to be writing the very first Inquisitors solo story! I love this time period of Star Wars lore because it’s the one I grew up on – when Darth Vader and the Empire were imposing their will on the entire galaxy. Plus, I got to create and all-new legendary Jedi with Tensu Run! Truly the best of times!”

The covers for the first issue of the mini-series have been revealed. The main cover, illustrated by Nick Bradshaw, features the main trio of Inquisitors fans are familiar with along with the Grand Inquisitor. All with lightsabers out and preparing to fight. The image of Darth Vader towers over them. Both variant covers exclusively feature the Grand Inquisitor, with one illustrated by Alex Maleev and the other by Walt Simonson.
The Inquisitors mini-series will be available starting July 3 with issue #1.
