Is anyone ready for another Five Nights at Freddy’s? Producer and Blumhouse head Jason Blum, dressed in a full Toy Freddy costume no less, to show off a new trailer for the upcoming horror sequel. This also came with new information about the film, namely that it will be released exclusively to theatres. Exhibitors weren’t entirely thrilled with the first film releasing simultaneously on the streaming service Peacock, so it appears Universal is switching course with the sequel. The trailer for Five Nights at Freedy’s 2 will be displayed below these paragraphs, feel free to look it over at your own pace.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is being produced by Blumhouse for Universal Pictures. It is a sequel to the previous movie, based on the popular series of indie horror games. The movie was a hit for Universal, so a sequel was expected. Emma Tammi is directing it, and several cast members, including Matthew Lillard and Josh Hutcherson‘, are expected to return. The film is planned for a December 5th release date and will be exclusive to theatres for a while at least. We will be providing any future updates on this production.
