Fourth 'My Hero Academia' Movie Announced
Earlier this week, Toho Co Ltd. announced the production of a fourth My Hero Academia movie in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump Magazine, followed by a brief announcement teaser on their YouTube page, along with a key visual for the film. The film is confirmed to tell an original story set during the events of the hit anime’s recent sixth season, during the aftermath of its ‘Paranormal Liberation War’ arc. Further details about the film are unknown at this time.
For those not yet in the know, My Hero Academia is an anime based on the manga of the same name by Kohei Horikoshi and follows the adventures of Izuku “Deku” Midoriya, a high school student who seeks to become a hero in a society where most of the population has superpowers and enrolls in an academy for superheroes and learns what it means to be a hero.

The series has been on the air since 2016 and released its first theatrical film, titled My Hero Academia: Two Heroes in 2018. Following the success of Two Heroes, the second movie, Heroes Rising, was released in 2019, followed by a third movie, World Heroes Mission, in 2021.
In addition to the upcoming theatrical installment, a seventh season of My Hero Academia is also in the works.
