‘God of War: Ragnarok’ Update Introduces New Game+ Mode, Includes New Features
It’s time to dust off your axes and polish your Blades of Chaos because new game+ mode is finally here for God of War Ragnarok. Santa Monic Studios took to Twitter on Wednesday to announce the mode’s inclusion, along with a string of new features and gear, in the game’s latest update.
Fans will surely have enough to keep them entertained for quite some time with the new update. If the new Game+ isn’t enough of a challenge for players, they can try their hand at playing through with the new Spartan Armor. When equipped, the player is stuck with “no Perks, no Stats, and locked at Power Level 1.”

When players equip the Zeus armor, the challenge can be even higher as even a single hit could kill Kratos. If those aren’t enough, new enchantments called burdens will allow players to create unique flaws in gameplay for an even higher difficulty.
Not everything added in this new update is set to make the game more difficult for players. New cosmetic items have been included, a black-and-white mode is now available, and Niflheim has been expanded to allow you to play as Kratos or Atreus and choose your companion from each who has been on the journey.
