Star Wars comics are rolling out left, right and center recently!

Following the recent reveal of Doctor Aphra’s return to Marvel in the same era as the new main comic run, Star Wars (2025), Dark Horse has also revealed their own newest miniseries planned to follow the end of the ongoing Hyperspace Stories: The Bad Batch: Ghost Agents.

Dubbed Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories: Tides of Terror, this four-issue miniseries will focus on Kit Fisto alongside fellow Jedi Mace Windu and Shaak Ti. The team will be traveling to a controversial underwater research facility on the world of Tordus for a diplomatic mission that shifts into a rescue mission as huge monsters circle the station, and the facility is under threat of flooding and being crushed by falling rubble.

In making the announcement, the success of Ghost Agents was specifically highlighted, suggesting a strong showing for the Hyperspace Stories brand under Dark Horse Comics. It might also indicate that Dark Horse has found a good niche with their Star Wars comics for the approaching post-High Republic era, as the comic studio has been prolific in their work for the initiative, especially Phase 3.

The comic’s writer will be George Mann, who has produced plenty of work for The High Republic, but who was also the writer for the recently released Hyperspace Stories: Qui-Gon graphic novel. Working with him will be artists Luis Morocco and Le Beau Underwood, colorist Michael Atiyeh and letterers Comicraft.

The first issue of Tides of Terror comes July 16th, 2025.
