John Krasinski Is Named "Sexiest Man Alive" By People Magazine
It’s the end of the year, and with that comes the end-of-year awards and events. People Magazine has come out with its pick for Sexiest Man Alive! The 2024 winner of this title is producer, actor, and director John Krasinski. The announcement came during the 36th episode of season 10 of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Krasinski has been in the game since the early 2000s, picking up roles in various shorts, television movies, and television series. One of his most well-known roles is Jim Halpert in the American version of the sitcom The Office. This role saw him play a prankster at their branch of the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company; at one point, his character pulled a prank on Dwight Schrute by hiring Steve (Ray Park) to pretend to be him fully, and it's been a minor running gag since. Krasinski made his producer and directorial debut in the 2009 film Brief Interviews with Hideous Men. More recently, his work includes the A Quiet Place franchise as a producer and director, Dreamworks’ animated series Curses! as a producer, and the humorous fantasy film If (2024) as director and producer.
