Launch Trailer For 'Star Wars Outlaws: Wild Card' Story Pack Released

Before the game’s release, Ubisoft announced the expansion plans for Star Wars Outlaws. The first of those expansions, Wild Card, has now been released. A trailer for the expansion also arrived on the release of the expansion, giving a taste of what players can expect.

After being alerted to a contact with a job, Kay Vess heads to a spaceport to find Governor Thorden. An Imperial ruling over the moon Toshara. While Vess is hesitant to accept helping any Imperial, she has no choice in the matter and so finds herself on the casino cruiser Merinia. Where she meets Lando Calrissian during the exclusive Sabacc game being held there. This is just the start of this adventure, as the trailer makes clear with Vess and Calrissian heading to places unknown.

Star Wars Outlaws was released on August 30 to some mixed thoughts on its gameplay and a lot of enjoyment from its bugs. Those have been worked on since the release, with the latest providing many changes and fixes. With the release of Wild Card, there is just one extra expansion to come. Running around the galaxy with everyone’s favourite pirate, as he would claim, Hondo Ohnaka.

Star Wars Outlaws is available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. The season pass grants access to the bonus Jabba the Hutt mission and both Wild Card and Pirate’s Fortune. That last expansion is expected to arrive in Spring 2025.
