Neel, From 'Skeleton Crew' Species Has Finally Been Revealed

The newest Star Wars show, Skeleton Crew recently wrapped up its first season. It showed fans a different perspective of the Star Wars universe from children. One of the children is a blue, elephant-looking creature named Neel. When he was first revealed, some speculated he could be an orlotan, the same species as Max Rebo. While that was later confirmed to be false, the creators recently learned what species Neel is.
Neel and his family are from a species called Myykian. Fans of the show agreed that Neel was a standout character. He had great character development, from being a scared kid to helping his friends save the day. He’s also extremely relatable, as anytime he went home after a long day, he immediately decided to take a bath.
All of the child actors in this show gave great performances. Neel wasn’t the only one to grow up, either. They all had moments of growth that made them strong in the end, and they were able to defeat Jod.
It is unknown if there will be a second season of Skeleton Crew, but fans have been vocal about wanting one. If not, let’s hope at least that we’ll see these characters in a future Star Wars project.
