The hit shonen anime ‘My Hero Academia’ now has a release window for its upcoming seventh season. With a new key visual released by TOHO, we also received the announcement that the series will return in Spring 2024.

Based on the manga of the same name by Kohei Horikoshi, ‘My Hero Academia’ follows the rise of a new generation of superheroes in a society where 80% of the world’s population has superpowers known as “quirks.” The series began airing in 2016 and has received three feature-length films, with a fourth movie also in the works.

The previous season follows main protagonist Izuku “Deku” Midoriya and his fellow heroes as they’re pushed to their physical and emotional limits during the “Paranormal Liberation War Arc” and the ensuing fallout, which saw superhero society on the verge of collapse amidst earth-shattering revelations.

The upcoming seventh season will pick up right where the sixth season left off, with the war between heroes and villains escalating toward a violent and dramatic climax as the series reaches the opening rites of what is believed to be its final arc, which is currently ongoing in the manga.

All six seasons of My Hero Academia are available to stream on Crunchyroll and Hulu; all three movies are streaming on Starz.
