'Supergirl' Movie To Release In Theaters In 2026
Despite Marvel’s reign at the box office, DC is still in the game. The Supergirl movie will be the second one worked on by James Gunn and Peter Safran. The first, Superman, is currently in production and is scheduled for a July 2025 release.
Supergirl will be directed by Craig Gillespie, who directed Cruella in 2021. The movie will star Milly Alcock from House of the Dragon. Supergirl is scheduled to start shooting in the fall. A Batman movie is also rumoured, but there has been no confirmation of it so far.
