The Official Trailer For 'Inside Out 2' Has Arrived
An official trailer has finally dropped for Inside Out 2, nine years after the original movie was released. Fans have been waiting with bated breath since September 2022 when it was announced at D23 that Inside Out 2 was on its way. Back in November a teaser trailer hinted that big changes were coming for the next movie, but it brought up more questions than it answered.
In the official trailer, Riley is now thirteen and has four new emotions. Maya Hawke, also known as Robin Buckley from Netflix’s hit series Stranger Things, voices Anxiety. Ayo Edebiri, who is best known for her award-winning performance in The Bear, joins the cast as Envy. Blue is the Warmest Color actress Adèle Exarchopoulos plays Ennui, and Cobra Kai’s Paul Walter Hauser landed the role of Embarrassment.

Liza Lapira has replaced Mindy Kaling as disgust, and Tony Hale is stepping into Bill Hader’s shoes as Fear, but otherwise all the original voice actors have returned (Amy Poehler, Lewis Black, Phyllis Smith).
From this sneak peek of Inside Out 2, it looks as if Riley may struggle with friendships and these new emotions, and the old feelings may be in trouble! The teen appears to have a new set of hockey friends to wrangle with and of course, there’s all the trauma that goes with high school.
