Until Dawn (2025) is based on a 2015 game of the same name. This film is not a one-to-one adaptation of the game, it is an installment to the now-expanding Until Dawn universe. The game was first developed by Supermassive Games for the PlayStation 4 and later remade by Ballistic Moon for PC and the PlayStation 5. The film takes inspiration from the games while introducing a new story, giving long-term fans and those new to the fandom something to enjoy.
