Tom Holland Discusses The Path To His Alcohol-Free Beer

Like many celebrities, Tom Holland has expanded his brand portfolio as his fame has grown. However, the Marvel actor’s decision to go alcohol-free in 2022, starting with the dry January challenge, has had a profound impact on his life. He has since described it as the best decision he's ever made. 

After the challenge ended, he kept it going and felt like he was hitting a stride by his birthday, saying, “I could sleep better. I could handle problems better…I felt better. I felt fitter. And I just said to myself, ‘Why am I so obsessed with having this drink?”

Last Wednesday, he shared his journey by launching his alcohol-free beer, BERO. “For me, BERO is personal. After two years on my sobriety journey, I wanted to create something that reflected my lifestyle and values,” the actor wrote in a press release.

He explained that BERO wasn’t for those on a path like his but for anyone who wants a quality, handcrafted experience in their glass. The ad copy from the press release explains that BERO is “a brand designed to be aspirational and inclusive, aiming to honor all the best aspects of beer. It’s made for discerning drinkers who want more from life, whether or not alcohol is part of that equation.”

The beer lineup includes Kingston Golden Pils, named after Holland’s hometown; Edge Hill Hazy IPA, named after his school; and Noon Wheat, named after the Spider-Man actor’s schnauzer.
