Disney Announces ‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3 Will Arrive Slightly Later In 2023 Than Fans Expected
Din Djarin, and the cutest bounty in the galaxy, Grogu, will be gracing our screens again in early 2023. A trailer was shown way back at Star Wars Celebration and released to the public during the D23 Expo this Spring. It was announced that the new season would come out in February 2023. However, we may have to wait a bit longer for the new season, as The Mandalorian season 3 will premiere on March 1st, 2023, on Disney+.
At the end of season 2, we saw a tearful separation of Grogu and Din, as Grogu was going off with Jedi Master Luke Skywalker to learn the ways of the force. This was also one of the few times Din removed his helmet. They were reunited in The Book of Boba Fett during the middle of combat. The trailer released at D23 has the armorer utter, “you have removed your helmet. You are a Mandalorian no more. Bo-Katan also appears to be sitting on the throne of Mandalore. She questions Din’s motives and declares the Mandalorians a cult. Din is also referred to as Grogu’s father. It appears that Din’s and Grogu’s bond will only grow stronger in season 3.
The wait for season 3 has been long, but a release date has finally been announced. Hopefully, another trailer will be released in the near future as well.
The Mandalorian season 3 is scheduled to release on March 1st, 2023, on Disney+.
