February 26th marked the date of a new Hasbro Pulse Fanstream, and it did not disappoint. Copious announcements for new, vintage, and even spoilery products were revealed, and CultureSlate is here to break down this exciting toy news.

As is to be expected, a slew of new releases for The Vintage Collection and The Black Series figure lines were announced. The Vintage Collection will be getting an Imperial Armored Commando (as seen in The Mandalorian Season 3) and new versions of Ponda Baba and Momaw Nadon, both being characters from the cantina in A New Hope who got figures under the Kenner brand and in the years since.

The Black Series has partial focus on Revenge of the Sith in line with this year’s celebration of the 20-year-old film, with figures of Kit Fiso, Count Dooku, and R2-D2 based on their appearance in that film getting a reveal on the stream. Alongside them are two more Mandalorian additions, once again from Season 3, Moff Gideon and a member of the Praetorian Guard. They are also releasing a Clone Trooper Electronic Helmet based on the 501st Legion, as seen in Ahsoka.

But the final Black Series reveals tie into an imminent Star Wars release. A new figure of Orson Krennic with his cape and custom blaster is dropping at the same time as a “Cassian Andor (Sienar Test Pilot)” figure. This figure links to the recent Andor Season 2 trailer, where Cassian is seen stealing a prototype TIE from an Imperial facility. This toy reveals it must belong to Sienar Fleet Systems and gives some indication of how Cassian accesses said facility.

Toys accidentally spoiling film or show details is nothing new, though we would classify this more as a compliment to the release of the trailer, given the appearance of Krennic in the footage as well. All of these toys go up for pre-order from various retail outlets in early March and will properly release during the summer of 2025.
