Jamie Campbell Bower And Eddie Marsan Cast In 'Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power'

Season three of Amazon’s Prime Video-produced Lord of the Rings spin-off series, The Rings of Power, is coming, and with it will come two new stars to join the popular fantasy series. The prequel series is set thousands of years before the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings and delves into the ancient history of Middle-Earth and the mysterious origins of characters such as Sauron. It has been announced that actors Jamie Campbell Bower and Eddie Marsan will be starring in the next season of the series. Bower will portray a regular character, and Marsan will play a recurring character, although their respective roles in the series have yet to be announced.

Bower already has an impressive list of credits in various fantasy franchises to his name, including the acclaimed Netflix series, Stranger Things, The Twilight Saga: New Moon and Breaking Dawn Parts 1 & 2, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Marsan also has a distinguished list of credits, especially in action films, including MI3, Atomic Blonde, V For Vendetta, and Gangs of New York.  Marsan has also appeared in some sci-fi/fantasy series and films such as the Doctor Who spinoff series, The Sarah Jane Adventures, Snow White and the Huntsman, Jack The Giant Slayer, and Merlin.

The release date for Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season Three has not yet been announced but will be streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. Past episodes of the series can also be located on its companion streaming service, Freevee.
