'Knuckles' Paramount+ Series Trailer Released
After what feels like an eternity, we finally have our first trailer for the Paramount+ Knuckles series. The trailer opens with clips of Knuckles (voiced by Idris Elba) mostly from Sonic the Hedgehog 2 with Wade Whipple (played by Adam Pally) talking to the echidna acting as narrator. We then cut to scenes of Knuckles living with the Wachowski household before we see him joining Wade to train him in the ways of the echidna warrior. Meanwhile, a mysterious figure known simply as “The Buyer” (played by Rory McCann), who used to work for Dr. Robotnik, is determined to get Knuckles’ power, so he sends his two agents, Agent Mason (played by Scott Mescudi) and Agent Willoughby(played by Ellie Taylor.
It's an intense action-packed trailer that gives us a good idea of how the series is going to play out. The series also features returning cast members Tika Sumpter, Ben Schwartz, and Colleen O'Shaugnessy as Maddie Wachowski, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Miles “Tails” Prower respectively in addition to newcomers to the series such as Cary Elwes as Wade's bowling champ relative “Pistol” Pete Whipple, Edi Patterson as Wade’s sister Wanda Whipple, Stockard Channing as Wade's mother Wendy Whipple, Julian Barratt as Jack Sinclair, and Christopher Lloyd voicing the echidna warrior Pachacamac. Knuckles “knock knocks” its way onto Paramount+ on April 26th of this year.
