Official Trailer Drops For 'One Battle After Another' Starring Leonardo DiCaprio

Actor Leonardo DiCaprio is now starring in a Paul Thomas Anderson movie, and already, we have a trailer. One Battle After Another stars DiCaprio as Bob Ferguson, a revolutionary of some sort out to save his daughter. Also in the cast are actors Regina Hall, Teyana Taylor, Sean Penn, Alana Haim, Benicio del Toro, Wood Harris, Shayna McHayle, and Chase Infiniti. Anderson wrote the script and is producing with Sara Murphy and the late Adam Somner. The film was shot on 35-millimeter VistaVision Camera, with location filming primarily in California, and additionally El Paso, Texas. Reports indicated it cost anywhere from $100 million to $140 million.
One Battle After Another is Leonardo DiCaprio’s first role in a Paul Thomas Anderson film and his first starring role in general after 2023’s Killers of the Flower Moon. That film has been nominated for 10 Oscars, while Anderson has yet to win an Academy Award. DiCaprio’s presence is sure to be a welcome addition for fans of the actor and may be a boost to the film’s potential earnings. One Battle After Another is being produced by Warner Bros. Pictures and is planned for a September 26 release, with IMAX screenings also to be available.
