'Once Upon A Time In Hollywood' Getting A Sequel, David Fincher Tapped To Direct

David Fincher, known for his work on movies like The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Fight Club, The Social Network, Alien 3, and The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, will be directing a sequel to Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. Quinten Tarantino, who wrote and directed the original movie will return to write the script of the sequel. Brad Pitt, who played Cliff Booth in the same movie will be reprising his role. It is currently unknown if Leonardo DiCaprio or Margot Robbie will reprise the roles they had in the original movie.
Fincher and Pitt is a pairing that has worked well before, having given great results in Fight Club, The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, as well as the movie se7en. It is thought that Tarantino, who owns the copyright to the first movie, will also have ownership of this one, and Fincher is working for him. The film appears as if it will be headed directly to Netflix. The plans for this movie began to form when The Movie Critic, which would have been Tarantino’s final film, was scrapped. Currently, nobody representing Netflix has spoken publicly about the movie, which does not have an official release date as of yet.
