Pedro Pascal In Talks To Join The Likes Of Denzel Washington And Others In 'Gladiator 2'

Nearly two and a half decades later, a sequel to Ridley Scott’s Gladiator (2000) is coming. Very little is known about the plot thus far, as development is still in moderately early stages. The cast list for this movie has been teased, seeing some familiar faces and new additions for the upcoming story.

Not every character has been confidently listed yet, as the creation of this film is still in the early stages. Djimon Hounsou, who played Maximus’ friend Juba in the first film, is likely to return for the sequel however this character credit is not confirmed yet; he may return as a different character. Denzel Washington was in the final stages of negotiation back in March, and his character is being kept tightly under wraps as he is the star of the film. Pedro Pascal is nearing the end of the negotiation stage; things are looking good for his appearance in the film, though the character is also unnamed.
