Percy Jackson And The Olympians fans rejoice, because the series has officially been renewed for season 3. The first season was the most watched show on Disney+ in 2024 and one of the top five most watched on all streaming platforms after it launched in December 2023. Season 2 hasn’t been released yet, so it’s even crazier that the show has been renewed already for season 3.

Season 2 will debut in December, but Disney Branded Television and 20th Television decided to release the season 3 renewal announcement before the season 2 release. The third season will be based on “The Titan’s Curse", the third book in the series.

Rick Riordan said, “We’re so grateful to be continuing the story of Percy Jackson on Disney+. This third season will be new territory for the screen, bringing fan favorites like the Hunters of Artemis and Nico di Angelo to life for the first time. It’s a huge sign of commitment from Disney and speaks volumes about the enthusiasm with which the fandom has embraced the TV show. Thank you, demigods worldwide!”

The second season of Percy Jackson And The Olympians stars Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn, and Daniel Diemer. Production has wrapped in Vancouver, with the new season premiering in December.

The first season is currently available to stream on Disney+.
