'The War Of The Rohirrim' Soundtrack Is Done With Big Hint As To Special Vocalist For The Show
The War Of The Rohirrim is the upcoming movie in The Lord Of The Rings franchise. The movie will be released in December, and the first trailer will be released. Not only did fans see footage from the film, they also got a tease of the soundtrack.
The first trailer used Howard Shore's iconic Rohan theme, eventually turning into generic trailer music. We have yet to hear new music from Rohan, but it seems that composer Stephen Gallagher is recording more music for the movie. At the end of July, he posted an update that he was nearing the end of the score. There was a final recording with the Stroma Ensemble in New Zealand. This included a harp and the return of Tudor Consort for additional recording.
Paris Paloma may also be singing the theme song for the film, as she has shared the trailer on her Instagram. Her songs often portray powerful messages when it comes to women’s issues, and with the main protagonist of the film being a woman, she would fit right in with the soundtrack. This however is still all speculation.
What we do know however is that the recording for the official score was wrapped on August 28th. There's orchestra instrumentation, the iconic Rohan theme that was present in the original trilogy, and possibly Paris Paloma.
