A Gameplay Walkthrough Of 'Star Wars Outlaws' Was Released At The Ubsioft Forward Event
As part of the ever-expanding universe, Star Wars Outlaws just released 10 minutes of footage that reveals some important details. Not only do we get a chance to see a bit of the gameplay, but there are bits of information about the story and the characters right there for us to find and enjoy.
The gameplay starts by following a small creature grabbing a rock-like object from a table. The little creature’s name is Nix, Kay’s animal companion. Kay finds herself inside of a Pyke Syndicate base from which she is trying to escape.

During these first minutes, we can see many compelling features. First, we are able to command Nix to do certain things: in this case, press a button to move a box and get some cover. Second, the way Kay climbs and moves around the base, both while in stealth and during combat, recalls the movement of games like the Uncharted saga. Finally, the gunplay: when needed, we can activate a quick menu that allows us to change our blaster’s modality and lethality.
As Kay climbs on her hovering bike, we take a look at the driving system of the game. The gameplays look smooth and intuitive, making it easy to steer and shoot if needed. Toward the end of the video, we get a similar perspective, this time piloting a spaceship in outer space. The open-world design allows the player to explore the surroundings and maneuver the ship at will; the wide range of movements and shooting mechanics offer a unique experience.
Additionally to all of the gameplay features, the game features an amazing graphic quality. The video mentions that it is not the final quality of the game, but if the final product looks even remotely similar, it will be mesmerizing.
The game is set to release in 2024, with no exact date yet. It is fair to say that, so far, the game is meeting the expectations. People must pay close attention to it and whatever is announced next from Ubisoft’s Massive Entertainment.
