Wackadoo! It appears that Bluey has reached 55.62 billion viewing minutes, making it the most-watched show on the United States streaming charts in 2024. 2024 has been an excellent year for the Australian children’s show, with the premiere of the extra-long “The Sign” special episode, and the announcement of a feature-length movie for 2027. This news has, however, also come with the caveat that Bluey creator Joe Brumm, would be stepping away from the show after working on the movie. Bluey’s future is uncertain at the moment, but it doesn’t look like it’s going away any time soon.

Bluey is an Australian animated series starring a family of anthropomorphic Australian Cattle Dogs, produced by Ludo Studio, the BBC, and the ABC. The show explores how play can influence how children can develop. Bluey has become a worldwide phenomenon in the late 10s and has been exported to many countries around the world. Though popular with its target audience, many adult viewers are passionate fans as well, looking to the main parental figures, Bandit and Chili, as role models. The show might not have changed lives, but it's certainly become iconic in its own right. What do you think the future holds for the Heelers?
