Ciarán Hinds Rounds Out New Additions To Cast Of Season Two Of 'The Rings of Power' On Prime
As development for season two of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power continues, new casting announcements are coming. The first season left off with the reveal of Sauron, hints at future character reveals, and on-screen Tolkien lore development. It left fans wanting more, looking to season two. While no character descriptions have been announced yet, Ciarán Hinds, Tanya Moodie, and Rory Kinnear have been added to the cast list.
Ciarán Hinds is an Irish actor and a Game of Thrones alum, like several other cast members. He is known for a wide range of roles including the voice of Pabbie and Grandpa in Frozen (2013), Michael Maguire in Shetland, and Mance Rayder in Game of Thrones.

Tanya Moodie is a Canadian-British actress with extensive TV experience. She is known for her role as Ella in Sherlock, Meg in Motherland, Agatha Wilson in A Discovery of Witches, and many more. She also played General Parnadee in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
Rory Kinnear is an English actor with experience ranging from the stage to the silver screen. He is known for roles including Detective Nock in The Imitation Game (2014), John Clare and The Creature in Penny Dreadful, and a role in Our Flag Means Death.
A release date hasn’t been announced for The Rings of Power season two. Since the first season premiered last September, the second may not come out for a bit. In the meantime, you can stream season one on Amazon Prime now!
